Whats the difference between Webbing Slings and Round Slings
Webbing slings are flat, woven straps made of nylon or polyester. They often feature flat or twisted loops (which are known as eyes) at both ends, though endless loop versions exist. They feature a wide, flat surface area that spreads out the weight, making them ideal for stable, flat, or delicate loads where you want to avoid surface creases. They also have a higher stretch rate to help cushion shock loads. We offer a range in webbing slings 1 to 40 tonne in various lengths, ready to meet your lifting needs.
Round Slings
Round slings are endless, continuous loops of inner load-bearing polyester yarn completely enclosed inside a protective, tubular outer fabric jacket. Forming a circular shape that shifts and adapts well to irregular or cylindrical shapes. Which grip tighter in a choke hitch because the inner core yarns move freely inside the outer sleeve. They are better protected than webbing slings because the outer sleeve takes the wear and tear while shielding the core yarns. Featuring very low stretch, giving them high rigidity and stability during a lift. Our range of round slings come in different capacitys from 1 to 250 tonnes within the UK and up to 500 tonnes outside the UK. Also we offer them various lengths.
