Our Polyester Round slings offer a high quality, premium lifting experience giving you reliable lifting when ever it is needed. Our Round Slings come fully certified with the relevant certification, ready to be as soon as they arrive on site. We offer Round lifting slings in a range of different Safe working loads (SWL) and lengths, from 1 Tonne to 100 Tonne, Available with compatible wear sleeves to protect your slings from the every day wear and tear that regular use brings.
We ensure that we provide Round Slings that meet the highest quality standards to meet any conditions you throw at them. However, it is important to know that it’s a legal requirement to inspect them at least every 6 months. These inspections should cover any snags, breakages, frays, or stretched sections to ensure that there aren’t part failures during heavy lifting.
Thorough examinations and inspections of lifting equipment
Our manufacturer prides themselves on having there own weaving facility on site which gives them the flexibility and ability to design and manufacture Flat Sling constructions varying from 1T all the way to 100T.
Some of our most popular round sling types are our standard Flat Slings (Available up to 12T), which come in Simplex (1 Layer – these are Made to Order) and Duplex (2 Layer – which are Standard ones from the shelf) forms and offer superior lifting solutions to most lifting problems.
The nature of Round Slings provide superior flexibility and can be configured to irregular loads when compared to standard webbing slings.
These polyester slings have a very low weight-to-strength ratio in comparison to the traditional chain and wire options making them a very versatile lifting solution.
What should you look for when inspecting slings?
As mentioned above, Round lifting slings and all other lifting slings must legally be inspected at least every six months for defects, signs of damage, frays, kinks. However, an inspection on each use is a sensible best-practice that we would recommend to avoid any unnecessary accidents.
The official sling inspections will need to be carried out by a trained person but some other things that you should look out for before using the round sling are worn (or missing) identification marks, acid burns, worn fittings, and melting or discoloration of any part of the sling. If any of these are present we would not recommend using the sling.
Whether you’re working on a construction site, Offshore, on a farm, we pride ourselves on providing a better than best catalogue of Polyester lifting slings and other lifting equipment, ready to meet all your lifting requirements.

N.B. When ordering Round Slings please be aware we price our slings using the Effective Working Length (EWL), if you are measuring your slings circumference please divide this in 2, this will then give you your EWL.
For example: 1 Tonne 0.5m EWL Round Sling will give a 1.0m circumference

Frequently Asked Questions
A round sling is an endless loop of high tenacity polyester yarn encased in a protective tubular polyester sleeve. The continuous-loop construction means there are no stitched eyes — the load is carried by the internal yarn core while the outer sleeve shields it from abrasion and wear during use.
We stock standard round slings from 1 tonne to 10 tonnes off the shelf. For heavier lifts we can supply round slings up to 120 tonnes, made to order typically within a couple of days. Call us on 01953 889998 or email us for a quote on non-standard capacities.
EWL stands for Effective Working Length, it's the usable straight length of the sling, not the total circumference. Because a round sling is an endless loop, its circumference is double the EWL. For example, a 0.5m EWL round sling has a 1.0m circumference. We price and list all our round slings by EWL.
Our round slings are colour coded in line with European conventions for quick identification. Up to 10 tonnes, the WLL is also printed directly on the sleeve along with one stripe per tonne, so there's no guesswork on site.
All of our polyester round slings are manufactured with a 7:1 safety factor, meaning the breaking strength is seven times the stated working load limit.
Round slings offer superior flexibility and can conform to irregular or awkwardly shaped loads more easily. Their tubular construction gives them an excellent strength-to-weight ratio compared to chain and wire rope, and because they can be continuously rotated they distribute wear more evenly extending the working life of the sling. They're also the better choice when you need capacities above 10 tonnes in a lightweight, easy-to-handle format.
Yes. The soft polyester sleeve provides a gentle contact surface that won't scratch, dent, or mark polished, painted, or coated loads. Optional wear sleeves are also available for added protection at the load bearing points.
