THERE ARE 7 MAIN DESIGNS

SINGLE EYE – CODE SE
Can only be fitted over the end of a cable. Gives a high pulling strength.

DOUBLE EYE – CODE DE
Cable can be passed through the grip between the eyes allowing the load to
be taken off the free end of the cable when securing to a termination. Can
be used for either pulling or support applications.

FLEETING EYE – CODE FE
Details as single eye – when ordering change SE prefix to FE
Can be used either pulling or support applications.

ALL ABOVE ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE IN NON CONDUCTIVE (NC) MATERIAL

OPEN ENDED – CODE OE
For fast non positive connection of two cables, wires or ropes.

SPLIT LACE UP – CODE SL
Not single eye – all other designs add SL after code.
i.e. DESL, FESL, OESL.
Used for attachment at any point on the cable.

MULTIPLE STRENGTH – CODE MS
For high pulling loads on overhead lines, conductors, ropes etc.
